About the Movie
The Sound of Music is an Academy Award-winning musical classic recounting the more-or-less true story of a feisty nun (Julie Andrews) who is sent to care for the motherless von Trapp children. She soon wins them over and finds herself falling for their stern father (Christopher Plummer). As war approaches Salzburg, they devise an ingenious way to save themselves and the children.
